Yes, it's been awhile...

Sorry about that. While we won't try to catch you up on everything that's been going on in our lives, we'll at least give you the highlights.

We are very happy to report that after house-hunting for several years, and placing bids on numerous houses, the Lord has graciously blessed us with our own home. It was a rental and in desperate need of some TLC, but we saw the potential and are thrilled to have a place to call our own. We did a lot of work on the house, (and by "we" I mean primarily Chris) for 4-5 months before we moved in. Here are some before and after shots:

There is still work to be done, primarily in the basement family room, guest room, & guest bathroom, and we will try to post updates as projects are completed.

  1. You guys have done SO much work to your house and it looks GREAT! :) I can't wait to actually see it in person and "lived in". :) We're so excited for you all!!! Good job on keeping the faith and determination of finding the right house for you. :) God is good, he always provides!!

  2. Yay! I'm so glad you posted pictures. I loved getting your Christmas letter but I wanted to see pics. It looks great. Love the kitchen, esp. I also mentally cheered when I saw that you removed those half walls in the dining room. So excited for you guys.
