Baby update

Well, the Dr has scheduled induction for Wednesday, so if baby hasn't come by then, that will be the day. We actually have to be at the hospital at 5AM, so yet another reason to hope this baby comes before then.

The latest on baby #3

Well, it appears baby #3 is quite content where he/she is. Colleen had another dr. visit today and there was no real progress toward delivery, much to her disappointment. Obviously those things can change at a moment's notice, but at least nothing appeared imminent.

The dr. did say, though, that he was willing to induce her either next Wednesday or Thursday if the baby had not yet arrived, so that may be the day unless things jumpstart unexpectedly.

So that's the latest from these parts...

Nothing new to report around here...

Colleen is still pregnant. Not that she is past due yet. She actually isn't due for another 5 days. But with Titus 10 days early, and Katelyn 2 days early, the hope was she'd be early again, and there is still time for that. Her mother came into town last weekend, so thankfully whenever that time comes, we'll have extra help.

Colleen is feeling fairly well, albeit a little tired, as would be expected. She had her first real significant contraction last night at around 1AM, but it came and went without anything further. So on we wait...

I had another CT scan on my wrist yesterday. I'm awaiting the results of that. Hopefully if it is healed, I can take off the brace I've been wearing for the past week (better than a cast at least) and get full use of my right hand back. I have a followup visit scheduled with the Dr. next Tuesday, but I tried calling today to see if the results were in so I could at least hear whether the bone was fully healed. The results were not in yet, but the lady I talked to hemmed and hawed about the fact I wanted the results before my scheduled appt. Apparently it's some huge issue if the Dr. hasn't seen the results and can't be the one to inform me during my scheduled appt, as if my knowing was some sort of threat against the national security of our nation. I mean, good grief, it is MY BODY we're talking about here. I guess I'll try back tomorrow and see if I can talk to someone a little more interested in talking to me. I mean, I realize there are all sort of laws/rules in regards to the release of medical records and such, but all I'm really looking for is a simple Yes or No. Is it still broken? Just read the report and tell me Yes or No! And if they can't tell me over the phone, I'd be happy to stop by and read the report in person on my way into or coming home from work.
